About the Role

We are currently representing a prestigious design studio located in central London, looking to hire a Procurement Manager with experience in hospitality and/or residential projects. This studio operates at the pinnacle of the market, handling UK and international projects, providing you with the opportunity to work on some of the most sought-after projects.

As Procurement Manager, you will oversee all procurement activities, collaborating closely with the design team. You will need extensive experience in specification, ordering, and administration of FF&E, ensuring timely, budget-conscious, and efficient order fulfilment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with the leadership team to establish project timelines, budgets, and deadlines
  • Support the FF&E/Interior Designer in sourcing information to complete detailed specification documents
  • Develop the procurement budget and manage all documentation, ensuring compliance with standards
  • Schedule and organise purchases
  • Communicate with global suppliers to obtain quotes and negotiate terms of service
  • Adhere to budgets and timelines, ensuring items meet specifications and delivery schedules
  • Coordinate with internal teams and contractors for FF&E logistics and installation
  • Conduct quality control checks
  • Track and approve supplier invoices, working with relevant departments for project reconciliation
  • Manage and track all orders, providing timely updates to the FF&E Designer and Team Lead
  • Maintain up-to-date supplier contacts
Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Experience in hospitality and/or residential projects
  • Proficient in IT, including MS Office, Excel, and EstiMac
  • Good knowledge of furniture design, manufacture, and materials
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build professional relationships with suppliers
  • Flexible attitude and willingness to assist as needed
