Project Architect - private residential, ArchiCAD - Remote/London

We are collaborating with a small architecture practice in London, seeking a talented Architect with proven residential sector experience and proficiency in ArchiCAD.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can hit the ground running and thrive in a fast-paced, ambitious environment, with a deep passion for innovative design. With at least 5 years of post-ARB Registration experience in the UK, the applicant will have a strong aptitude for teamwork, able to manage multiple complex tasks and projects efficiently. A high level of organisation and attention to detail, combined with a strong aptitude for managing projects and clients, is essential. A keen interest and knowledge of fabrication techniques that integrate digital manufacture with the craft of architecture is highly valued.
This role is ideal for someone looking to grow and develop into a position of significant responsibility in a small studio, gaining a broad range of knowledge and experience across the full spectrum of running a business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously across all RIBA Stages.
  • Track project expenditure using the studio's systems, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Thoughtfully manage and lead client relationships.
  • Confidently liaise and coordinate with all consultants and third-party stakeholders, raising issues with the senior team as appropriate.
  • Compile reports throughout the project lifecycle as required.
  • Coordinate studio resources effectively.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • RIBA Part 3 qualified with a proven experience across all RIBA stages pqe. 
  • Experience working in design-led Architectural Practices.
  • Experience in coordinating bespoke high-level interiors and finishes.
  • Advanced ArchiCAD user – essential.
  • Visualisation skills using Twinmotion, Lumion, or Enscape are an advantage.
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite and Microsoft/Open Office.
  • Excellent technical drawing skills.
  • Strong ability to communicate design verbally and visually to multiple parties.
  • Excellent architectural design and graphic communication skills are essential.
  • Strong understanding of Building Regulations.
  • Proven track record of managing and leading projects at all RIBA Stages.
  • Understanding of sustainable design, including MVHR, airtightness, and heat pump coordination.
  • Proactive and flexible attitude, with a strong focus on task completion.
This company works remotely and also utilises co-working spaces for meetings. 
It is essential that you live in London and are able to attend site visits, meetings with clients and with the team.
