We are representing a boutique design and build company based in East London, specialising in private residential projects. This firm offers clients a comprehensive turnkey service, managing home renovations seamlessly from concept to completion. Over the years, they have carefully assembled an in-house team of RIBA architects, interior designers, and artisan builders to ensure exceptional quality and craftsmanship.
Focusing primarily on London-based projects, they excel in extending and remodelling period properties, skillfully modernising homes while preserving their character and integrity. Their designs create brighter, more open-plan living spaces, enhancing both lifestyle and property value.
At the heart of their approach is a deep understanding of how clients live, ensuring a perfect balance between stunning design and functionality. The role and responsibilities:
- Developing interior design schemes tailored to client needs
- Creating mood boards and presentations to showcase design concepts
- Sourcing and procuring FF&E to align with project aesthetics and functionality
- Collaborating closely with in-house architects, the build team, and subcontractors
- Coordinating contractors, suppliers, and services to ensure seamless project execution
- Designing bespoke furniture and lighting to enhance unique interior spaces
- Developing detailed specifications and schedules for efficient project management
- Creating and managing budgets to maintain financial control throughout the project
Key skills the candidate shall have:
- Substantial experience delivering high-end residential FF&E packages from concept to completion
- Extensive knowledge of suppliers and industry resources
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong eye for color, materials, and finishes
- Highly organised and efficient, ensuring smooth project execution
- Proficient in Vectorworks (will provide training), Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for liaising with clients, subcontractors, and architects
